Another version that is almost identical with the present composition and which has the same dimensions was sold at Sotheby’s, New York (28 Jan. 2005, lot 560, from the Lillian Rojtman Berkman Collection). Prof. Spinosa considers our picture to be a work from the artist’s maturity.
